I recently purchased a Sony KV-34XBR910. Great tv! It is a flat screen HDTV tv in 16:9 ratio. I also have a 7 year old son and 4 year old daughter who like to put ther fingerprints all over the screen (Yes, it ticks me off!). Does any one have suggestions as to how I can clean the screen? Eihter home made or a kit of some kind that I can buy. I am aware of the Monster kit but am seeking alternatives. I have found that Monster's products are typically way over priced and over-rated. That's why I'm wondering if something else exists. Any help would be appreciated.

How about glass cleaner? Is the screen glass? Just spray the cleaner onto a towel then apply it to the screen, use another clean towel to dry. If it is a CRT, that should not be a problem. Definitely don't waste your money on Monster Cable, especially for cleaning supplies.
I was always told never to use glass cleaner on tv screens period. Don't know if this is an old wive's tale or not. Do you have any info regarding this?
Hi,
I have tried autoglym glass cleaner which is meant for auto use.
it did a great job.
One thing i would not recomend is the antistatic computer screen wipes, they leave a nasty residue.I dryed them out and the cloth works much better?
Hope this helps,
Thanks,
Ian.
