Hi,I'm looking for a 16:9 widescreen TV, mainly (90%) for watching DVDs. My room is small, so projection TVs wouldn't work (thank you to the helpful person that recommended them, however).
Toshiba has been highly recommended to me. I found a 34HF83 set for $1500 (MSRP $2000). However, Toshiba also has a 34HFX83 set in their "cinema series" which has an MSRP of $2200. Any ideas what the differences are? Is the extra $200 worth it? I already have an NAD sound system with Energy speakers, so paying extra for the TV speakers wouldn't be worth it to me.
If anyone has other reccomendations, I would appreciate them. I saw the Sony 34XBR910, but found it to be a bit pricey for the incremental improvement on picture.
Thanks,
