My 2cents.I have a new Samsung DLP monitor and find that all my SD video is the best straight cable out of the wall into the back of the set. The upper digital channels look better with a component connection and HD looks best with the DVI. I can see SD on all connections, I just think its better straight out of the wall. Component and DVI will get everything and it's subtle as to which is the best HD picture.
Cable from outside to a 2Ghz splitter, then one to the antennae in on the Sammy, the other to the Cable box.
Check here and specifically under the type TV you have an also under the appropriate HDTV or other sections.
