I'm sure others will follow with more suggestions.
Follow Ups:
I have had both NAD and Rotel and find the Rotel much sonically better rival but then again the last time I owned any Rotel equipment was with the AVR that came out with AC-3 for laserdiscs.I have been reading good reviews on the RSP-1066 and RSP-1098. Does the RSP-1098 compare to the Denon 58xx series ? I know you still have to get a muti-channel amp.
I also prefer Rotel, alot of others like NAD more though. I can't compare to the Denon as I haven't heard a Denon piece for some time.
