I'm a newbee here. The problem I'm having is that I'm getting vocal bleed through in my sub. I have an Outlaw 1050 HT reciever withthe internal xo set at 80 hz and when I turn the level up for the sub I hear the low frenquincies of the dialog. Other systems I'v heard don't do this. Any advice? The rest of my system consists of Carver AV505 running my mains with a Beringer Cx3400 active xo, Carver AV634 for thr surrounds and center, and Adire Shiva in a 85 liter vented box tuned to 20 hz with the AV 250 plate amp. I'm thinking it's sub but I could be wrong. If so, building a new one is no problem. I do have a Peerles 12" XLS with the passive radiator just waiting for a box. Thank Tom

Where is your sub placed, in respect to the mains?
Low vocal Hz start in the 80's, so it can well be your equipment is performing true to design.
