I need to get my Sony 65 inch RPTV professionally calibrated. I have been using it for 3 years and have never done it. I want to give it a try before I plunge for a plasma as since I have bought a 42 inch plasma for my living room the RPTV seems to be less and less interesting, dull and less sharp !Who is a good ISF tech. around Atlanta ? How expensive is he ? How to contact ? Will he calibrate the plasma too ? Does it need to be calibrated ?
Please help.
thanks

Thanks guys.
I think I have the AVIA DVD which I got with my SONY 9000ES a few years ago. Tired it once, could not do much and lost interest(alongwith the filters).Ordered the VE DVD. Lets see, if I can do something about it this time. Techs are my last resort but I will try.
Thanks again
Before going to the expense of hiring an ISF calibrator - they are expensive - I would suggest you get yourself the Avia DVD or even the less expensive Sound & Vision DVD. I used the Sound & Vision on my Panasonic PT-47wx42 and realized dramatic, yes dramatic, improvement in the picture quality. But remember, as Joe said, you'll not get your RPTV to look as good as your plasma.
Next to plasma, all other displays seem to lack something.
:-)You can search the ISF database for techs in your area:
