one that has real crisp feel to the buttons, with fast action in changing chanels, checking the guide, etc. i really find alot of remotes have a kind of mushy feel to the buttons. someone should market a high performance remote.
Follow Ups:
I agree with Sam that the Pronto programmable learning remotes are outstanding. However, I don't think a 'fast' remote is the answer as the responsiveness in channel hopping might be a function of your set top box.I had a similar issue with a digital cable box. It picked up hundreds of channels but I had to wait about a whole second after switching channels before the picture would come up. This made it painfully slow for channel hopping. I returned the digital cable box and continue to use my regular old analog cable and TV remote... it's so much faster.
I have the same channel lag on my DVR-S7000 DirecTivo receiver.... again , not due to the remote.
They do, called Pronto.
