I would recommend the iScan HD to someone if they didn't already have a scaler or if they had a fixed pixel HD display. However, based on the display that you have and the other comments that you made, I would say that you should stick with your iScan Pro.Below is a link to a very long thread (50+ pages) at AVS Forum on the iScan HD that may interest you. Dale Adams from Anchor Bay Technologies answers many questions about the iScan HD.
Of course, after you're done reading, you may disregard my comments.

Thanks for the response Joe. I have seen the AVS Forum. Their were over 100 posts before anyone even had the machine. And now all the posts seem to be on operational questions, I just cant seem to find anyone speaking strictly about the performance. But Thanks again !

Shit, that last one is your thread! You might want to mention the type of display that you are using in that thread and any plans in the future to upgrade/change your display. You may get a better response.
Why not email or call Dale at DVDO/Anchor Bay Technologies? I'm sure if you give him all of the pertinent information and maybe answer some of his questions, he'll give you an honest answer to your question. He seems very knowlegeable about their products and doesn't come off at all like a marketing rep .
