  I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but you might check on the Outlaw Audio Model 950 preamp/processor. It has a 7.1 channel preamp level output and costs less than $950. For an amp, I don't happen to feel that the sound quality of the last 2 surround sources is that important, so I picked up a used stereo amp at a pawn shop for $40.
