Video Asylum

after spending time researching hi def sat recievers on the satelliteguys website and other places it seems that these recievers tend to be kind of unreliable and need constant attention, such as downloads, re-booting, etc. i've looked into voom, dishnet, and direct tv and they all seem to share these issues. anyone else get this impression? i really dont want to have to mess around w the tv. i just want to turn it on and thats it, no aggravation.
