The original introduction of the product had a few problems. Some people received players that worked from Day1, while others couldn't get the majority of their discs to load, play all the way through and/or lock-up on occasion.The subsequent reissue had fewer complaints, but there were still some of the nagging complaints from second batch owners who still had problems.
V Inc is getting ready to introduce the Bravo D2 shortly. The price will be $249 and the issues which plagued the Bravo D1, at least for some of the people that purchased this product, are said to be eliminated with the Bravo D2. Confirmation from those who purchase the Bravo D2 will be the only way of knowing whether or not the original's issues have been resolved.
If I were you, I'd wait until the Bravo D2 is released. Check out the threads on AVS Forum at that time. If any problems exist with the new model, you can be sure that they will be revealed and discussed until the cows come home.

Thanks for the info. Have you heard of any positives/negatives with customer service, ie; warranty repair or replacements, tech support, when it comes to the above problems. Thanks for the AVS hint, I'll do searching over there as well.
