A month ago, I bought a Zenith 27" HD for a bedroom system even though I was (now) using it for SD cable with a modulator feed. Read about a buzzing sound, but was assured that it was no big deal. Once I got the Zenith home, the noise was horrible. So I exchanged it for a Sony SD Wega...which is doing analog much better than the Zenith did. (I also have a Pioneer RPTV for HD)Sony is coming out with a new 27' HD Wega.... Go for that one, if you can wait and it will fit in your cabinet. Also check out the AVS direct view TV forum.

John,Do you have a model number or hypertext link to the Sony 27" HDTV?
Thanks.

Thanks, John. I probably can wait a few weeks, but hope that others will chime in regarding products other than the Zenith in the meantime. I also will check out the AVS forums, since it appears there is useful stuff there.
