I have the pioneer 578 universal dvd player, its going to a onkyo receiver that decodes dolby digital ex dts well all of them, but my understanding is that the internal decoder of the receiver only does 24/96, which would present a problem with DVD-A discs that are recorded in 24/192. Question is can I use both the coaxial digital out of the DVD player for the receiver to decode into 6.1 for movies and then use the 5.1 output of the player for DVDA and SACD.
