I know they are a German company and I've heard some very good things about their 16: 9 tube tv's and their sets in general. I was wondering if anyone has heard of them and what sort of price range their televisions are in. Thanks
Follow Ups:
The Vitros, it is the best TV I have seen, and it costs the same as the Sony I considered at the time...Now I wouldnt buy a CRT, although their quality is still unbeatable up to 36", Loewe is not designing any new CRTs, the last one is the Mimo...

Saw it in a couple of stores...I thought it was the best picture I had seen in a direct view TV. BUT it is VERY expensive.
had the same 38" picture tube as used in the discontinued RCA F38030 (which I own). I never saw the Loewe (which means "lion" in German), but I understand they handled the associated electronics much better than the RCA, which has some real issues. In either case, with a good input signal and a properly functioning set, the picture quality from this direct-view tube was (is) unequaled, even compared to Sony's.
Both reviews I have read(Stereophole GTHT and one in UK) were luke warm for their cost.
I've heard them and seen them. They are more expensive than Sony XBR's.
