Well, I tried the old SCART again and the problem remains :(

So it it has nothing to do with the component cable, the "fault" is caused by the better power cable, possibly because it has less resistance, so the TV gets more current ???

On the other hand, when I bought a similar cable for the DVD player, the sound changed considerable during burn-in, very forward presentation and brighter, after a while it seettled ok, so it may be a matter of a few more days usage, hopefully...
