There are four sizes in this series. I bought the 51", which is basically a slightly larger version of yours. I had it calibrated by a friend at ISF (who actually recommended these models) and now have an even more gorgeous picture with a special 5400K setting for black and white movies. I particularly like the easy to use remote and the Cinemotion 2/3 pulldown algorhythm for films. And for what you get the prices certainly are a bargain.
Follow Ups:
For me, I have been very pleased with the flexibility of the unit and the video quality. I bought this set with the idea that it would last me maybe 5 years or so while the more esoteric flat panel technologies continue to improve in terms of reliability and the prices become more reasonable. But in the meantime, I don't see that I am giving up much. The WEGA LCD units I see weigh in at 80 lbs for the 50 inch size and would require a separate stand in addition. They are 17 inches deep, and mine is 22 inches, so not really that much different. I'm not sure they are significantly better units for approximately double the price.
