Here is my dilemna, as many have....I have a RATS NEST of cables behind my Entertainment unit. I have found many cable management systems etc but have read nothing about Cable Groups. My cables run pretty much to the same place either to the receiver or wall, however there is still a nest. Should I group all power cables together or will that create interference etc.? Speaker Cables for my Home Theater grouped with sheilded cables? What is the best way to organize while maintaining asthetics and minimizing noise? All my video cables are sheilded, all of my speaker cables are not but unless they are long runs (three rear channels) I am using Braided DIY cat 5 to my front and centers.
Thanks for the advice in advance.
Follow Ups:
I have found that sometimes, being organized can create hum and/or noise. The rat's nest, if random, didn't cause problems. At present, I run my power cables first, trying to keep it as neat as I can, followed by speaker wires. Interconnects, come out as they may!
