I have open outputs and inputs in a lot of my equipment (meaning that they are not hooked up to anything). I have seen devices called "shorting plugs" which are supposed to be plugged into non used inputss and/or outputs.What do these do and is it a good idea to use them?
Follow Ups:
depends on the quality of equipment & how much RF they are picking up from these open connections. I have never tried them, but some people swear by them.
