Video Asylum

This is a great rear projector tv that I have had for years. Last night the picture became smaller on the sides and bent in toward the right and left edges, somewhat like an hour glass effect. It can last this way for a while than return to normal for couple of hours than back to smaller picture. Is this repairable? Thank you for response.
