my CC-1 at $200 used. So I can't complain too loudly.
I am looking at more power for the whole HT, about 200w/8ohms, 400 into
4... that should help from the current Marantz MA-500.....
Leading candidate so far is the EAD Powermaster 1000 if/when it gets
released.

  Sadly, there weren't. I was experiencing a very good "Audio Kharma"
  day. I was in a local haunt, ok it was Saturday Audio Exchange --
  I'd never been there before, looked up, and what did I see?
  The CC-1. Knowing I was going to build a home theater, I asked
  what they wanted for it, knowing full well right up the street it
  was $750. They wanted $200.
  Couldn't believe my luck. Got exactly what I wanted, saved over
  $500....
  Way cool.
