... to mate with my Avance Epsilon 680's (fronts - 4 ohms), M&K S125C (center - 4 ohms) and B&W 300 series (rears - 8 ohms).
Something robust as I use it for watching movies and rock concerts at a good volume. I'm looking for something NEW ONLY preferably under 2K. Any suggestions out there?
Follow Ups:
I'd go with a Rotel RSX-1056, I had one and the NAD T763 but just moved to Rotel seperates. The 1056 sounds really nice, I think it is where the price/sound ratio is at its peak.
There are probably Denon's and a few others that would work also.
...an inexpensive DD/dts receiver (with pre-outs) and a nice 5 channel amp? This way you get all the decoding options and some quality power for your speakers.I suggest this because I feel most receivers (even in the $2K range) have less than optimal amplification. Or if you want a strict pre/pro and amp set up, check this out from Audio Advisor (actually a very good deal):

Adcom amps are stable into loads as low as 2 ohms.
The link you sent .. click specs and it says 8 ohms
All the amps are rated for 8ohms and 4ohms. Some for 2. These are likely to be better than almost any amps in receivers regardless of how they are rated.
