Dave,Goo Systems Digital Grey is great stuff but it's a pain in the ass to apply.
I did one wall screen by rolling it and I wasn't 100% satisfied with the final finish. Even the best roller will leave a textured finish.
I also made a screen out of 3/4" MDF (primed and sanded 3X) and while it was slightly better, the roller is the main problem.
At distances greater than 15', you really can't see the textured finish but something about the image bothered me.
I had a friend who paints furniture and cars redo a 84" 16:9 screen on the wall with a spray gun (plaster wall with flat finish) and the results were dramatically better. If you are not good with a spray gun, let a pro do it.
Another thing about the Goo Systems is that it takes time to cure. The initial results are very good, but I found that the picture quality got better over a 4-5 week period.
