I am a 2-channel audio guy so video takes the back seat (way back). I have been using a $250CAN JVC DVD player for a few years that has developed a loading problem that is getting worst all the time. I have always appreciated the picture quality over VHS however.I was wondering what is the word on best bang for buck current players, and also what price level should be considered to get quality. I use a standard 28" TV (audio out to to the 2-cahannel stereo) so p-scan not important but component (RGB) output would be nice. Does it make sense to use one of todays ultra-cheap players (eg. $70) until video becomes important (to me)?
