Planar LCD TV anyone?

I just got a Planar LCD monitor and am blown away by its image quality. So much so that I'm considering buying their 15" LCD TV for the kitchen but have found no opinions on Planar's TVs. What would a std TV image look like on 4:3 1280x1024 resolution.

Standard NTSC (dubbed "Never Twice the Same Color" by wags) resolution is 240 horizontal lines. Depending on the screen size, probably wouldn't look too good but 15" is small enough that you might be able to get away with it.
