Hi, don't most DVD players and DVD software menus have yer normal, everday, run-o-the mill, 2-channel, RCA audio outs that would serve the same purpose? Or is there something special about *de-decoding* the Dolby multi-channels, that has sonic merits?
I'm only curious.
