I guess one of the first questions would be, does the 5910 upscale over the component video connections or just via DVI (like my 5900)?

Follow Ups:
Denon is a major electronics manufacturer and a member of the DVD Forum (which is, for all intents and purposes, run by the Hollywood studios).
is NOT in the loop? So the Scaling capability in the 5910 doesnt matter anyway...
I believe you are correct. The scaling only takes place on the DVI connection (maybe HDMI too). On my 5900 which has DVI, it scales to 720p and 1080i. If I use component video from my Denon, I let my plasma TV/monitor do the scaling.
