1. Square D surge protector, installed in double pole breaker space in panel.2. Dedicated audio/video (240volt/30amp) circuit/ subpanel, with a 4 pole disconnect installed before subpanel to instantly "pull the plug" on everything.
3. Zerosurge surge protector on RPTV
4. Cable company installed a drop amp to increase signal, which also includes surge protection.
5. Installed BNC connectors where above cable goes into primary components, for quick disconnection.
6. Got the whole family trained to unplug/turn off everything when storms arrive.
