I have had this sub now for 2 weeks and its great. I was looking for something that would fill in the last so much of what my B&W 602 S3 speakers wouldn't and yet small enough to "hide". And this sub was the ticket, it produces bass with clarity and definition. I haven't had the chance test many subs in my house, but I have heard many subs since I have been looking. I was going to get the 10" B&W sub but it would rattle and distort with some of my B.B King recordings (Blues on the Bayou), and the HSU even with the smaller woofer, doesn't distort at all, just produces tune full and deep taut bass. The build quality is excellent and the sub wieghs a hefty 43 pounds. Overall a great small sub for those of us that want some bass but dont have the floor space.
Product Weakness: | I am sure that there are some, but it was 300 dollars. |
Product Strengths: | Build quality, ease of intregration, deep bass |
