With great hope I connected up everything via DVI cable, my DISH 811 HD receiver and my Zenith 318 upconverting DVI DVD player to my Sony Grand Wega LCD via DVI.

Nothing, no picture. I checked all the connections, but no picture, from input 1 or 2. The push-buttons are real piece of work BTW displaying vague feel and no crisp detents. If I don't touch anything and watch a bit, the TV will sometimes spontaneously show some random colors with flicker for one second then nothing again.

This thing is going back. I'm sure it may be just my unit that's defective, but the overall build quality, especially the vaglue push-buttons don't inspire me to order a replacement.

I guess I'll stick it out with component w/ DVD player until a cheaper electronic switcher becomes available...
