I don't understand the statement that if you have satelite, you don't need a separate OTA tuner. - I have the Dish HD receiver with an add-on cartridge that permits reception of OTA HD signals. - However, as far as I know, the Dish system does not provide for reception of our local stations unless I pay an extra fee. So, I still use the OTA tuner in our integrated HD TV for local stations, and for some viewing of HD stations. (I got the Dish tuner because the tuner in our set can't get the audio on all the HD stations, for some reason.)
