Hey Y'all,Does anyone know of any AV pre-amps/processors with digital audio outputs other than the Meridian 861?
Thank You in advance.

You might also check if the Anthem AVM30 has a similar feature.
What is available on that digital output? All channels from all inputs after processing? I know many offer the equivalents of a tape output, that is, a digital bypass.
Hi Kal,Any input can be passed to the digital output . Analog can be converted to 44.1, 48, 88.2 or 96kHz at 16 or 24bit output. I believe that digital input can be passed "unscathed" up to 96/24.
To be honest, I haven't used the digital out feature yet. Waiting for my Koetsu to be retipped...
that's fine as far as it goes. Can you get a processed, volume-controlled, EQ-ed, multichannel digital output?
Boy, you're tough to please. Must come with the territory...All analog and digital input routed through the digital out pathway are converted to 2-channel. Output options are limited to sampling frequency and bit depth.
Do you know of a consumer product that accomplishes the tasks in your query?
By the way, since I last communicated with you, my system has evolved quite a bit. Check out my posted system. I've got to tell you, Revel all around (7.1) is awesome, particularly with the Ultima Sub30.
So I figured.Glad you are enjoying the system.
Theta announced one at the last CEDIA.
