I agree about AVS forum. It does have its cheerleaders. It's also been less than helpfull for me. I ended up getting the Sony LCOS, but wouldn't have if I had paid attention to the forum-not to mention I'ld be sitting in the dark staring at a blank screen looking for problems.
I was also interested in the new JVCs, but they are out yet in my area. One store had one, but sent it back (not a good sign). People are looking for them partly because they will be cheaper than the Sonys. I'm curious about the LGs.
