there are also no direct disc access buttons on the remote. you must skip 4 times to get from disc 3 to disc 2.

when listening to CDs, the player will not skip DVDs. it has no "music mode" it just treats all discs as the same. one minute uyou're listening to tunes, the next, a film is cueing up.

i never realized just how user friendly my old onkyo was until i bought this nightmare. if only it didn't refuse to play CD-Rs, i might have considered getting it fixed a 2nd time instead. i sure do miss "5:3 zooms".
