I am preparing to get a 37-42" LCD. How do I prepare the wall behind where the TV is to be hung with regards to a panel for all needed electrical/A/V/cable/etc. connections? What is a reasonable size/depth for such a panel? Thanks,
Follow Ups:
I used 2 1/2" Sch. 40 PVC electrical conduit, in the walls, with 5 x 5 PVC boxes at each end, for all the non-power wiring. Ran a standard 15 amp romex circuit with isolated ground recptacle for power, from a dedicated sub panel, one stud space over from all A/V cabling. All material from Home Depot/Lowes.
I used a pair of Panamax Max-in-Wall panels. AC and signal.
Did you put mount them up on the wall, behind the TV?
One goes behind the TV. The other goes behind/next to the equipment rack.
