DVD recorder: DVD blanks and picture quality?

Are all DVD media created equal in terms of PQ? If not, which brand has better PQ over the rest? Thanks!

You must be talking about BLER/C1/C2 and PI/PO tests and other errors.
Every DVD burner is different. You have to match the Media to the burner. I run a Mastering business and have found that Taiyo Yuden works better in Plextor burners. I have other burners (Lite-on, Tascam, NEC) each like different media.
I'd suggest you get Plextools XL and run some tests to see what media works best in YOUR burners.
