You must be talking about BLER/C1/C2 and PI/PO tests and other errors.
Every DVD burner is different. You have to match the Media to the burner. I run a Mastering business and have found that Taiyo Yuden works better in Plextor burners. I have other burners (Lite-on, Tascam, NEC) each like different media.
I'd suggest you get Plextools XL and run some tests to see what media works best in YOUR burners.
