What are some recomendations for a HTIB setup with the best bang for the buck around $500? I've got a set of speakers from a Sony DAVC700 system, so I'd even look at systems that don't have the speakers. Or a slimline combo. For my HT is secondary to my 2 channel system, so smaller is better, but hey want it to still sound decent.
Oh and whats the panny that people seem to be crazy about?

Klipsch ProMedia D5.1 + Inexpensive+good DVD player, like an Oppo 971
Klipsch multimedia speakers are pretty good, and fine for a small room.
