  I recently purchased one of these from Fry's to use as a cheap, simple surround sound system for movies and, as such, it works well. Took ten minutes to get it hooked up and going. Satellites are small and sound reasonably good. The subwoofer is a bit flabby but it has plenty of oomph for movies and integrates well with the satellites. I would not be happy with the Spherex for music but for my simple home theater setup - I am very pleased. BTW, I also listened to the low end Onkyo and Yamaha HTIB systems and I think the Spherex sounds a bit better. Hope this helps.
