I saw someone complain about a receiver that didn't have enough VIDEO IN ports. Why would you plug your video into an audio amp?

Instead of switching the audio inputs on the receiver and the video input on the TV/PJ, one would only have to switch once using the receiver. This can often cause a loss in picture quality, but is preferable to some due to convenience/less wiring to the TV/PJ, etc.
You plug all your video components into the receiver and then just one out to the TV.
