I use a GeForce 5600XT AGP card in my MythTV box, and it works great. It's only SVHS out, but the quality is excellent.

Another benefit of the 7xxx series is you can use nVidia's PureVideo to use the card's processor to speed up video decoding (WMV, H.264 and MPEG2.) I've been playing around with it and it looks pretty good. The video quality is marginally better, but CPU usage drops around 30% on my 3GHz P4. You have to pay for PureVideo, but you can try it out for free to see if you like it.
