Saw this 61' tv in best buy. There is no substitue for size. They were playing blue ray on this set. What an amazing picture. I preferred the picture on this set to all plasma's in the store. Of course I might be comparing apples to oranges, given that this set was playing blue ray. Also, Samsung has done a great job on the sets styling. Additionally it weighs only 77 lbs, much lighter than plasma. I can finally see myself happy with a set that is not a plasma.
Whats up with the Sony XBR SXRD set...it is really an eyesore, and I would not want it in my living room. If this is the best Sony can do on its premimum tvs then, Sony has really slipped (talking about styling here, not the picture).
Follow Ups:
I am very pleased with the image quality of the HL-6768W. I also looked at the 60" Sony, found that the housing with built in speakers was too big, added 6" to the width. I also found that the Sony had some issues with blown out highlights that turned pinkish in color instead of staying white. Anyway, at 12' viewing, the 67" is ideal
Yea, alot of people hate the Sony styling. I think its still got the best picture out there though. Some of the new Sonys will have removable speakers.

I am sure that we a great source bigger is better, but what about
everyday cable or satellite TV, maybe bigger makes the flaws more obvious.
