Your out of sync condition may be caused by the extra time it takes to process the video signal.

The extra steps ... deinterlacing, upconverting, and/or scaling to native resolution can take extra time, and may be the cause of the video lagging slightly behind the audio, making the presentation sound like a badly re-dubbed foreign Si-Fi movie from the 50's.

Some HT receivers/Pre processor have a specific delay function you can adjust to re-sync the video and audio ... check your HT manual to see if you have this adjustment
