I have owned one of these machines since new and never used it much. Beta got scarce and I stored it. This machine is amazingly over built and weighs a ton, and, as I recall had phenominal (near CD) quality sound. Now, with digital broadcasting technology, I would like to get it up and running, but the glue on the foil switch covers has failed and I have lost some of the little plastic actuators that engage the microswitches behind the panel. Sony just laughed when I called them about replacements, any ideas? barring repair, any offers? This machine is as new with less than 50 totol hours since new.

Thanx for the offer Joel, but due to the unmatched video and audio quality this machine is capable of, I am really looking for the parts to get it up and running. If you have one laying around, which I doubt, Ill gladly give YOU 20 bucks for it.
