At least that is what is stated in my latest Crutchfield flyer.Isn't that odd. Unless you have a really high end set up, I would want to use just one player (use as a transport for CD at the least).

to read redbook. Most Blu-ray players won't do CDs-the samsung does.
HD DVD players play CDs, not that it matters to me, I keep music and video systems seperate.
