In Reply to: Has anybody in here bought this Viewsonic N3752W HD LCD model yet? posted by millen on November 4, 2006 at 14:24:05:
......…..I am considering buying a couple of 22” monitors (VX2235wm) for the Pc’sIn the “bang for your buck” department I think the ViewSonic is right up there.
I think for a TV I’d want it to be able to display 1080p instead of “only” 1080i. Though the difference might not be discernable on a 37” screen.
Good luck

however we will only going to use it as a casual tv which will be installed in our breakfast nook so that the wife can watch her favorite normal tv programs such as HGTV etc...while doing her chores. I'm still thinking about going with a 42" plasma though again for the same purpose in mind. I'm hoping that the 42" plasma would come down in prices next year.BTW, most of our HD viewing sets are all in the basement and that including the 57" and 110" LCD front projection for the movies.
.......……….. I would get a 42” plasma if you, like me, are a fan of plasma TV’s.I guess it all comes down to the budget you want to spend for the use. For your intended use I’m thinking maybe the absolute best is not needed?
For any use I would always get the biggest size possible.
If you are not in a particular hurry you may find some great deals after the Xmas rush?
Back to ViewSonic, I know their monitors over here have been getting raves about their “bang –for-the-buck”. However, I don’t know much about their larger screens.
I would suggest you alternately use the screen as a security monitor to keep watch for marauding bears!
Good luck with your search.
