I am putting my 5.1 system back together when our new house is complete. This time I need to go with a wall mounted speaker, preferably one that doesn't protrude out much into the room. So far I haven't found anything that compares with what I used to run...my Aegis bookshelf speakers. Does anyone have a speaker they are fond of that is a wall-hugger?thx. in advance.

Try the Mission panels or their latest cubes - they are stonking.
also Canton do a range of bookshelf/wall hangers, I have their CD range and given the price not half bad at all.
Magnepan makes a speaker that hangs on wall and swings out when you want to hear the music. They sound very good, better than any box speakers. Definitely worth a listen.
