Electrical "pop"

My system makes a pop when the light switch in the next room is turned off.
Is this dangerous to my system and if so, how can I fix it?

I had the same problem in a apartment.
The unit in the link solved the pops from
lights, vacuum cleaner, etc.

Have you tried a different outlet for your system?
Unlikely it'll do any damage, but you may want to have an electrician check it out.
