for the AVR-2800

I have had this product for about 4 months. It is used primarily for HT only. I did not want to spend over $800 for a HT receiver. I compared this unit to similarly priced Sony ES, Yamaha, Pioneer Elite. The audio quality as compared with the others listed was the deciding factor. I also like the fact that it is relatively simplistic. The synthesized audio environments do nothing for me. The features that I wanted was DTS, 24/96 DAC, and binding posts for speaker wire connections.

Product Weakness: Poorly designed remote control
Product Strengths: Good value for the money. Very flexible with many connecting options available.
