I'm about to buy a JVC RX1028 VBK.. It seems like a nice receiver.
I'm going to drive a home theatre set from Cambridge Soundworks. They also seem like a good set. And they have a 10 year warranty!! Is that bullshit??? Nobody else does. Anyway...any comments or suggestions??
I thank you in advance and thank you for an education in sound!!!
I didn't no Jack Shit when I came to this site...still don't, but feel I know enough to make a wise decision. Again, thank-you!!

I don't want to become intrusive in your buying decision but thought that you might like to know that the JVC that you are looking at (rated at 100 watts per channel) outputs 67 watts with all 5 channels driven. Although this is not a subjectively 'bad' thing, I do think that you could do better by looking into the Yamaha, Denon or Onkyo lines...better build quality, more honest specs, more amping ability for the money, better components etc., etc., etc.
