Crutchfield's has been around a while and even sends out print catalogs.Tweeter's is a local store in my area of the country (Dallas/Ft Worth area, Texas).
If you are going to buy a LCD over the internet, why don't you go over to www.avsforum.com. There are a number of LCD sellers there that help sponsor the forum. Certainly many in the LCD forum have experience with online dealers that should prove helpful.

Several are legit and have been around for many years. For example, "Abes of Maine". I bought camera bodies and lenses from them in the 70s. I am not qualified to say which is the best but I think the data is available if you search. Personally I am hesitant to buy a TV from the East Coast( I am West Coast) and risk freight damage and go thru the hassle of claims. Make sure you find out up front the cost of the "required" shipping insurance. Good luck! The prices are tempting.
